To provide detailed information about a medication, FDA requires that the manufacturer include a special information sheet with each package of the product. Click below to download a copy of the FDA-approved Full Product Information sheet including contraindications, warnings and boxed warnings concerning serious and sometimes fatal dermatologic reactions, aplastic anemia, and agranulocytosis. Equetro contains carbamazepine. Please ensure patient is not taking any other form of carbamazepine. The most frequently observed adverse reactions, particularly during the initial phases of therapy, are dizziness, drowsiness, unsteadiness, nausea, and vomiting.
